“something has happened at The Harwich School”
Friday, 6th November, 2009
Congratulations to The Harwich School on their recently published Ofsted report. Not only does it tell a story of continuous improvement at the school, but it also highlights really positive opinions expressed by parents and carers who have noticed and appreciated the transformation that has taken place at the school.
'The school has worked extremely hard to raise levels, and I believe they don't get enough praise for doing so.'
EdisonLearning worked alongside The Harwich School over a four year period starting in 2005, supporting the school's development, building leadership capacity, and helping to introduce new systems to enable and embed future growth. The Ofsted report is strong evidence of the impact of that collaboration, and the dedication and hard work of the school staff.
'This Ofsted report is encouraging for The Harwich School, representing as it does a snapshot of improvement as the school progresses toward its goals,' said Kevin Crossley of EdisonLearning. 'There's been some excellent work by school management, staff and students, and the inspectors' verdict should provide fresh impetus to push on with renewed energy.'
