A new model for Special Schools. Six schools in Essex collaborate to realise a new vision

In some respects, Special Schools are in the vanguard of the drive for a better education system. Because they need to tackle every aspect of a child's development, both inside and outside school, they have to take a more all-embracing approach to education than most mainstream schools currently do.

Through an innovative partnership with EdisonLearning, six special schools in Essex have taken a vision for a new model for special schools, and driven it through to an inspirational reality, delivering real benefits for children and their families.
