Getting here by rail: Mainline trains run regularly to Colchester from London Liverpool St. station.

Getting here by road:

From Chelmsford: Take the A133 off the northbound A12. At the roundabout take the A133 towards Clacton/Town Centre. Follow the A133 to the first roundabout and take the second exit off. At the next roundabout, take the third exit and then the second left into Causton Road (opposite Victoria Inn). Turn right into Riverside Office Centre and park in visitor's space and report to the caretaker¹s office in Fairfax House.

From Clacton: Follow the A133 into Colchester. Continue along the A133 until you reach the North Station Road roundabout (Albert Beefeater on right) Take the first exit and then the second left into Causton Road (opposite Victoria Inn). Turn right into Riverside Office Centre and park in visitor's space and report to the caretaker¹s office in Fairfax House.

From Sudbury: Follow the A134 into Colchester and pass under the railway line. At the first roundabout take the third exit staying on the A134. At the second roundabout take the first exit for A133 Clacton. At the next roundabout take the third exit and then second left into Causton Road (opposite Victoria Inn). Turn right into Riverside Office Centre and park in visitor¹s space and report to the caretaker¹s office in Fairfax House.
