Achieving the Church’s Educational Mission

Improving the Life Chances of all Learners

As a values-led organisation, EdisonLearning believes that clear, well-defined values are a critically important part of a child's successful development. As educators, we place values at the core of all our programmes, so that the schools and colleges we work with provide an environment in which students respond and contribute to the values of the institution.

Clear values have always been a key part of a faith school's education, and faith school heads, staff and governors respond positively to our educational approach, which helps schools communicate and embody their values more effectively in all their activities.

EdisonLearning has a tried and tested mechanism for implementing a values-based education with a strong focus on outcomes, and is one of five approved partners in the Church of England National Society's framework for academy development. We are currently involved with Church of England projects with St Lawrence Academy, Eastbourne Academy, Ellesmere Port Academy and North Halifax Academy.

EdisonLearning is pleased to be working with decision-makers in the Church of England and the National Society to understand and develop the mission set out by the National Society's founders 200 years ago.
